Qigong is designed to help patients manage and reduce their stress, help
heal physical and emotional pain, and enhance the quality of their life
and those around them. The practice involves a classroom setting style
of teaching similar to a yoga class. In the class the instructor leads
the participants through a series of exercises based on five different
movements. These movements are aimed at effecting different aspects of
the body and mind with an overall goal to promote a healthier and happier
life through a balanced approach to all aspects of the body.
Free classes on the First and Third Fridays from 5-6:30 p.m.
Open to all patients.
