Yoga offers many potential benefits for patients, including improved sleep,
increased appetite, more energy, less pain, reduced anxiety and a sense
of empowerment. Yoga instructors will guide participants through slow,
gentle movements and poses, with an emphasis on breathing and listening
to the body. The class will also include time for guided meditation and
relaxation. Instructors encourage all participants to do only what feels
good—no special skills or abilities needed.
