Pediatric Hospitalist Physician Openings
at St. Luke's in Duluth, MN
Position Description
St. Luke's is excited to open another position for a BC/BE Pediatrician
or Med/Peds provider to become part of our newly-established and growing
Pediatric Hospitalist program. Join the group of St. Luke's current
inpatient pediatric team consisting of one full time Pediatric Hospitalist,
6 primary care Pediatricians, and varied Family Medicine physicians who
all take part in providing high quality pediatric hospital coverage.

12 hour overnight shifts available: currently 4 on/3 off; eventually expanding
to 24/7 coverage with flexibility in scheduling.

Coverage includes inpatient pediatrics, ED consultation, newborn nursery,
and high-risk deliveries all within a single hospital setting.

You will see patients in a private, 8-bed Pediatric Unit with dedicated
and proficient nursing staff.

Enjoy a brand new and bustling birthing center experiencing nearly 800
deliveries per year with Pediatric involvement including:

Attending C-sections and high-risk deliveries.

Managing Specialty Care Nursery with common admissions including prematurity
(34+ weeks), sepsis evaluation, hypoglycemia, respiratory distress, and NAS.

Handling routine newborn nursery care.

We offer a real-time 24/7 telephone specialty consultation available through
Minneapolis Children’s Hospital and the U of MN.

The physician will have opportunities to work with Family Medicine Residents
and University of MN Medical Students.

NRP & PALS certification required.
