Orthopedic Surgeon Openings
at St. Luke's in Duluth, MN
Position Description
St. Luke's Orthopedics would like to build a hand/upper extremity program
as well as orthopedic trauma program to join a thriving group of fellowship-trained
physicians. These 2 opportunities are for Board Certified/Board Eligible
Orthopedic Surgeons.
Fellowship-Trained Orthopedic Hand Surgeon:

Multi-site therapy division, which includes Certified Hand Therapists

Call is divided equally among the surgeons in the practice, with option
to hand-off trauma outside sub-specialty. Call is 1:7.

Practice currently sees a large volume of hand pathology (moderate complexity).

The group covers multiple sporting teams with sports hand involvement available
if desired.

Advanced imaging on site, in-office fluoroscopy
-
Block surgical time
Fellowship-Trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon:
-
Multi-site therapy division with PM&R, Pain Medicine adjacent to Ortho Clinic
-
No spine coverage
-
Call is divided equally among the surgeons in the practice; Call is 1:7.

The group covers multiple local sporting teams.

Dedicated orthopedic trauma room with ortho-dedicated staff.
-
Current average is 60 ortho trauma cases/month.

Pelvic/acetabular fractures are currently being referred out.
