After any traumatic event we know that all you want to do is get back home. We want that, too. The most common traumatic events that our senior patients face include:

• Falls
• Motor vehicle crashes
• Sports-related injuries

At St. Luke’s, our trauma team responds to traumatic events with the compassion and expertise needed to help you recover, regain independence and return to the comforts of your own home. We support you, as well as your family, and aim to make you as comfortable as possible during a difficult time.

We make sure the healing process is focused and personal from the moment you arrive through your post-trauma care. A St. Luke’s care coordinator will connect you to services and resources after you return home to help you live as safely and independently as possible.

In the case of a traumatic event, it’s important for you and your family to know where you want to go.
