St. Luke’s is excited to announce a new sports partnership with Lake
Superior College.
St. Luke’s Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is now providing athletic
training services for Lake Superior College’s IceHawks men’s
and women’s soccer this fall, and for men’s and women’s
basketball during the winter.
“Partnering with Lake Superior College is exciting for us,”
St. Luke’s Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Clinic Manager Aaron
Bresnahan said. “Our athletic trainers really enjoy helping athletes
stay in the games they love. This partnership allows them to share their
expertise, and keep players healthy and active.”
The new partnership is the result of Lake Superior College expanding their
athletic options and creating more opportunities for their students to
be engaged.
“Athletics are an important part of the student experience at LSC.
We are excited to expand our partnership in new ways with St. Luke’s,”
Lake Superior College Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs Mike
Seymour explained. “This is only the beginning of our enhanced relationship
with St. Luke’s. We are in conversations about other ways we can
work together and ensure our students have that connection with one of
our community’s largest employers. We’re looking forward to
continuing to work together for years to come.”
