WHAT: St. Luke’s is celebrating the prestigious international recognition
of being a Baby-Friendly Designated birth facility. After a ceremony,
food and refreshments will be served.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: St. Luke’s is excited to celebrate its designation as a Baby-Friendly
birth facility. Baby-Friendly USA is the U.S. authority for the implementation
of the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative. The initiative encourages and
recognizes hospitals and birthing centers that offer breastfeeding mothers
the information, confidence and skills needed to successfully initiate
and continue breastfeeding their babies.
