Becker's Hospital Review has included St. Luke's in its list of "100 Hospitals With Great
Heart Programs."
The elite list, which was published December 13, selected hospital heart
programs for inclusion based on their quality care, clinical awards, and
research contributions to cardiovascular care.
St. Luke's Hospital was one of just three Minnesota hospitals to be
featured in the list. The other two were Abbott Northwestern Hospital
in Minneapolis and the Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
"Consistently, all of our providers are committed to deliver the most
state-of-the-art care that we can provide to our patients," said
St. Luke's cardiologist Dr. Scott Mikesell. "Not only are we
always striving to be the best at what we do, but we are always striving
to expand our capabilities and add services to our cardiac program."
Becker's Hospital Review is an influential publication aimed at high-level hospital leaders. It
features business updates, legal news and analysis focused on hospitals
and health systems.
