St. Luke's Welcomes New Board Members

St. Luke’s is pleased to welcome Barbara Hayden Haugen, Patrick Heffernan,
Amanda Imes and Bryce Nixon as its newest board members.
Barbara Hayden Haugen is currently St. Louis County Director of Planning
and Development and Executive Director of St. Louis County Housing and
Redevelopment Authority. She has more than 30 years of experience in public
policy, and her professional experience includes affordable housing, community
development, economic development, land-use planning, geographic information
systems, program evaluation and grant administration.
Patrick Heffernan is an owner/partner of Wheeler Associates. He joined
the firm in 2003 and specializes in employee benefits, insurance and financial
planning. He has served on a variety of community boards including the
Duluth Chamber of Commerce, Duluth Art Institute and Arrowhead Estate
Planning Council.
Amanda Imes is a member of maurices Real Estate Analysis team and focuses
on new store placement in the US and Canada for maximum profitability.
She and her husband own and operate a paddleboarding outfitter, SUPerior
Paddle. She is a professional mentor through FUSE Duluth.
Bryce Nixon is Director of Advancement at Marshall School where she oversees
a six-person department responsible for fundraising, alumni relations
and event production for the region’s only independent school serving
450 students grades 4-12. In the past she’s served as an attorney
in Duluth and the Twin Cities and was Associate Director of Planned Gifts
at Macalester College in St. Paul. She also volunteers with a number of
local organizations including Hartley Nature Center and Destination Imagination.
Haugen, Heffernan, Imes and Nixon join St. Luke’s existing board,
which consists of 14 other members.
