St. Luke's Clinical Nutrition team of registered dietitians provides a therapeutic approach to treating medical conditions and their associated symptoms with the use of an individualized diet. The diet is based upon the patient's medical and psychosocial history, functional nutrition examination and dietary history. Medical nutrition therapy is a medically necessary and cost-effective way of treating and controlling heart disease, diabetes, cancer and kidney diseases, among other conditions.
