Dr. Vunnamadala received his medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. He completed residency in general surgery at Easton Hospital in Easton, Pennsylvania, where he was also Chief Surgical Resident. He completed a residency in cardiothoracic surgery at Texas Heart Institute/Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
Prior to joining St. Luke’s, Dr. Vunnamadala was a staff physician at Medical Associates Clinic in Dubuque, Iowa.
