Stephen Turner joined St. Luke's Hibbing Family Medical Clinic and
Laurentian Medical Clinic as a family physician in September 2014.
A native of southern California, Dr. Turner chose to practice in Hibbing
and Mountain Iron as it is an opportunity to enjoy nature and the outdoors
in a small town. He was drawn to family medicine because it provides him
the opportunity to help and form meaningful relationships with patients.
While he practices the full scope of family medicine from pediatrics through
geriatrics, he especially enjoys working with kids, since there is an
opportunity to have a huge impact on their lives from the start.
He encourages his patients to become active and believes that "a little
goes a long way." He wants patients to find an activity they like
to do so they will enjoy it and consistently do it. He said the little
things will add years to your life.
Dr. Turner enjoys spending time with his three children and participating
in a variety of outdoor activities, such as fishing, archery, hunting
and horseback riding. He also enjoys riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle
so you might see that parked outside of the clinic.
