Shawn McMahon is a family medicine physician at Lake View Medical Clinic
in Two Harbors.
Dr. McMahon was raised in Toledo, Ohio, where he grew up only three blocks
away from his wife of 30+ years. Upon completing his undergraduate at
Miami University, he joined the Peace Corps. During this time he served
at a leprosy colony in Liberia, West Africa. This experience motivated
him to pursue a career in medicine.
Dr. McMahon enjoys caring for and getting to know many families. He has
enjoyed seeing his children grow up with other children in the community
and believes that the opportunity to provide care to multiple generations
is what family medicine is all about.
For relaxation, Dr. McMahon likes to spend his time in his wood working
shop, riding his motorcycle and camping.
