Lisa joined St. Luke’s Cardiology Associates in 2006. She is board
certified by the ANCC as a family nurse practitioner. Lisa also holds
a postmaster’s certificate in cardiovascular health and disease
management. She is a member of the Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association,
and the National Lipid Association.
Lisa believes that successful care stems from focusing on patients’
entire circumstances, not just their ailment. In this way, she is able
to identify any risk factors and work individually with each patient to
set SMART goals, reach those goals, and improve the patient’s health.
Lisa’s family is very important to her, and since she grew up in
Superior, WI, working in Duluth allows her to stay close to them. She
has two daughters, 13 and 10, a cat named Betty, and a husband of 26 years.
In her free time, Lisa enjoys attending her daughters’ sporting
events and school activities.
Lisa loves football and watches both college and professional games. Of
course, being from Wisconsin, Lisa is Packer fan. Lisa also enjoys spending
time outdoors at her cabin during the summer, traveling, reading, and
playing golf.
