Dr. Matthew Horning is a family medicine physician at Chequamegon Clinic in Ashland, Wisconsin. He received his MD at Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York. He completed his family medicine residency in the University of Minnesota Department of Family Medicine and Community Health Residency Program, in Duluth, Minnesota.
Dr. Horning spent several months in 2012 working for Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in a refugee camp in Yida, South Sudan. He returned to his practice in Ashland beginning in October 2012.
He is currently the Physician Champion for Chequamegon Clinic's participation in a joint program between the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) working to improve immunization rates. He is board certified in family medicine.
