Brian is a board certified physician assistant with St. Luke’s Cardiology
Associates. He is an associate of the American College of Cardiology.
Brian chairs the Committee for Anticoagulation at St. Luke’s.
Brian’s interest in cardiology stems from his personal experiences.
He lost several family members to cardiovascular disease when he was young.
Brian now revolves his practice around educating patients on all options
in health care, and navigating patients toward the greatest quality of life.
Brian believes that exercise is the best way to prevent illness. Brian’s
medical advice for patients is to make time for exercise now, or they
will need to make time for illness later.
Brian fell in love with Duluth during graduate school. He enjoys the honesty
and integrity of its community, as well as its outdoor beauty. In his
free time, Brian enjoys boating and fishing on Lake Superior, and hiking
the Superior Trail. During the summer, Brian, his wife, and two young
boys enjoy camping on the north shore.
