The American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED course is designed
to prepare students to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external
defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner.
Upon successful completion of the course, including first aid, CPR, and
AED skills tests, participants will receive a course completion eCard
via email. The eCard is valid for 2 years.
There are two options for completing the course, instructor-led or blended
learning. Both options require an in-person session to complete skills
practice and testing. The instructor-led course is a two-night class that
